Omschrijving
Mijn naam is Cas. Voor mijn masterscriptie aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam voer ik interviews uit met huishoudelijk werkers die familieleden en/of vrienden in het land van herkomst emotioneel en/of financieel ondersteunen. Ik ben geïnteresseerd in hoe betaalde zorg in de vorm van huishoudelijk werk wordt gecombineerd met onbetaalde zorg voor familie en vrienden. Daarnaast wil ik graag onderzoeken hoe zorg op afstand wordt verleend.
Voldoet u aan de volgende criteria?
U bent afkomstig uit een land buiten Nederland.
U werkt als huishoudelijk werker.
U ondersteunt familie en/of vrienden die nog in uw land van herkomst wonen.
Zou ik u dan mogen interviewen? Het interview duurt maximaal 30 minuten en ik kan u op een locatie naar keuze ontmoeten. Ik kan u ook bij uw thuis ontmoeten, of online.
Helaas staat er geen financiële compensatie tegenover deelname.
Ik kan u een document opsturen met meer informatie over het onderzoek.
Uw deelname zou veel voor mij en het onderzoek betekenen.
My name is Cas. For my master’s thesis at the University of Amsterdam, I am conducting interviews with domestic workers who emotionally and/or financially support family members and/or friends in their country of origin. I am interested in how paid care in the form of domestic work is combined with unpaid care for family and friends. In addition, I would like to explore how care is provided across distance.
Do you meet the following criteria?
You are originally from a country outside the Netherlands.
You work as a domestic worker.
You support family members and/or friends who still live in your country of origin.
If so, would you be willing to participate in an interview? The interview will take up to 30 minutes, and I can meet you at a location of your choice. I can also meet you at your home, or online.
Unfortunately, there is no financial compensation for participating.
I can send you a document with more information about the research.
Your participation would mean a lot to me and the research.
