Hello!

We’re a warm, easy-going family of four living in Haarlem, and we’re looking for a fun and reliable babysitter for our 3-year-old daughter, Mayla 🌈

We’re hoping to find someone who can help us 2–3 afternoons per week. The role involves picking Mayla up from pre-school around 12:30 and spending a lovely afternoon with her until one of us gets home (around 17:00).

At home we speak English, German, and Portuguese, and Mayla also speaks Dutch. She’s a very active and curious little girl who loves playing outside, building things, and reading books. You’re more than welcome to take her to nearby playgrounds or enjoy relaxed activities at home—whatever feels fun for both of you! No housework is expected; your focus is just on Mayla.

Because I work shifts, our schedule changes from month to month, so some flexibility during weekday afternoons is important. I always receive my schedule one month in advance and will let you know the days we need help as early as possible.

What matters most to us is that you’re reliable, caring, and genuinely enjoy spending time with children. Mayla is quite independent—she can use the toilet, dress herself, and clearly ask for what she needs. We mainly need someone who can pick her up on time (this is very important!) and enjoy a fun, relaxed afternoon with her until one of us comes home.
